Guided Walking Tour In The Old City : The tour starts with pick up from your hotel about 08:30 am and finishes about 12.30 noon in Sultanahmet square. You will visit: Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Roman Hippodrome. You may also visit the Harrem in the palace which is optional. The tour cost is 30 eur per person including the entrance fees except the Harrem Section in the palace. Please note that Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays.

Guided Walking Tour In The Old City : Tour starts with pick up about 13.00 from your hotel. You will see: St.Sophia Museum,Basilica Cistern (Underground Water Palace), Million stone, Tomb of Sultan Mahmud and ancient Ottoman cemetery,Cemberlitas (Burnt Column),Grand Bazaar. The tour ends about 16:30 with free time in Grand Bazaar. You will be advised by your guide for getting back to your hotel on your own. The tour cost is 30 eur per person including the entrance fees. Please note that St.Sophia Museum is closed on Mondays and Grand Bazaar closed on Sundays.

The tour will take you to the roots of historic Istanbul with visit to the monuments of Byzantine and Ottoman cultural heritage. As the places of visit are all located out of the touristic centers, you will also have the chance to visit the current daily local life.

Itinerary : We will pick you up about 08:30 am for the tour. The first stop is Yedikule Dungeons located within the city walls of Constantinople, once used as a prison and execution site for the young princes.Driving along the city walls will end at one of the oldest and most important churches in the city - The Church of Chora - representing fascinating wall paintings which tell the life of Christ in an historical order. Even though the building itself being small, the meaning was great for Byzantines as being founded at the borders of the city and welcoming the visitors. Today the environment is restored and this is a good place to spend time with local artisans and wooden houses. After the church, we will have a tea-coffee break at one of the most splendid spots of Istanbul with a beautiful view over the Golden Horn - Pierre Loti Hill. The place inspired the French Poet Mr Pierre Loti who gave the spot her name. You will again start drive but that time along the shores of Golden Horn through the towns Fener and Balat which are the old Greek and Jewish living sites. Fener Orthodox Patriarchate is located in the area as well where you will have a stop for the visit. The journey will end by driving along the Golden Horn Bridge in Sultanahmet about 13.00

Bosphorus Cruise and Eminonu 
(Half Day in the afternoon) : Picking up about 13:30 from your hotel, you will first Rustem Pasa Mosque, special with Ottoman tiles and then walk through the Egyptian Bazaar (Spice Market) built in 1664 and filled with the fragrance of the exotic East such as spices, dried fruits, turkish delights. The next visit is to Yeni Cami (The New Mosque) which indeed last constructed 1663 and one of the best example of Ottoman Imperial architecture. The Bosphorus cruise by TurYol boat takes about 1.5 hour and you will see the most impressive sights along the shores of the Bosphorus including Dolmabahce Palace, Ciragan Palace, Maiden´s Tower, Bosphorus bridges, Rumeli and Anadolu fortresses and Ottoman Residences. Return to the hotel about 18:00. |

(In the Evening - 1 hour) - Whirling Dervishes Ceremony : Known to the west as Whirling Dervishes, the Mevlevi Order was founded by Mevlana Rumi in the 13th century. The Order wrote of tolerance, forgiveness, and enlightenment. They survive today as a cultural brotherhood. They are not theatrical spectacles but sacred rituals. The ritual of the Mevlevi sect, known as the sema, is a serious religious ritual performed by Muslim priests in a prayer trance to Allah. Mevlevi believed that during the sema the soul was released from earthly ties, and able to freely and jubilantly commune with the divine. The price is 50 TL per person.
