From Ataturk Airport (IST) on European Side : From Ataturk Airport:First hop on the underground metro M1a in the airport in the direction of Yenikapı. From S.Gokcen Airport (SAW) on Asian Side: Outside the airport, find the Havataş bus heading forTaksim. These buses operate daily between 04:00 and 01:00. To Sultanahmet – To reach Sultanhamet, you have two options. Either you take about 20 TL taxi ride after reaching Taksim Square , or you combine with Finicular from Taksim Square to Kabatas. The finicular has only 2 stations, so no worry to skip where to get off. From Kabatas, take the T1 Kabataş/Eminönü-Bağcılar tram in the direction of Bağçılar, and get off only a few stops later in Sultanahmet.
